Investment Strategy

Our asset management process starts with a risk analysis driven by your personal modeled risk score and tolerance, your liquidity and income needs, your time horizon, your diversification needs, and current market opportunities. No two clients are the same; therefore, no two client portfolios are created the same.

After we capture the risk management information, we use innovative investment solutions to help align your capital with your financial and personal values. We won’t time the market, we don’t chase fads. Instead, we identify market trends that give you long-term growth opportunities, we buy non-proprietary quality investment vehicles, and we use technical analysis to develop entry and exit strategies to grow and protect your assets.

After we create and implement a model that empowers and inspires you, we continue to communicate with you to ensure continued alignment as markets shift and your objectives change. A person is constantly evolving and changing, and your investing should, too.

Our fee structure is simple: we charge an annual fee as a percentage of the assets under management. This fee is typically between 0.75% and 1.25%, but it varies based on asset allocation, assets under care, and our service schedule. We are committed to transparency in fees, and we will never ask for your business unless you are comfortable with all the fees and expenses

Financial Planning

We believe planning for financial independence is empowering and critical to a successful retirement strategy. The process can be intimidating or daunting for many individuals and families, and our greatest joy comes from helping people live in a way that gives them financial satisfaction and purpose.

Planning can take many forms. Oftentimes it involves an investment strategy, but it is much more than that. Our planning process always includes: a comprehensive look at all your assets, including real estate and business interests; earned, passive, and retirement income; debt structure and payoff; risk management; tax planning; business planning; education planning; and estate considerations.

After gathering financial information from you, we meet to discuss your most critical objectives and wishes, and then use state-of-the-art software to analyze the data, finally we propose solutions. We will consider retirement planning, cash flow analysis, investments, taxation, insurance, and business transition. Our software uses Monte Carlo statistical simulations to help you see the impact of varying market conditions on your particular asset allocation and risk level.

Our process typically takes three-to-five meetings to ensure we understand you and the data correctly. Financial planning is rarely all about making decisions purely on financial data; it’s also about creating a plan that makes you feel confident and inspired.

We can revisit the plan on an annual basis, or as you experience significant financial changes such as a new job, asset sale, or marital status. The plan is a living document and it will change as you change. We want you to experience freedom, reduced stress, and satisfaction after completing and implementing a plan.

These services are done on a flat fee basis, and average between $2,000 and $4,000, depending on their complexity and necessary interactions with other professionals such as CPAs and Attorneys. Some asset management relationships also include financial planning at no additional cost in our service schedule. We will meet with you at no cost to gather the information needed to give you a specific proposal.
